![]() Put it through different filters, use a cutoff envelope, etc. One tip for making dubstep-style basses (not Scrillex specifically): set Osc 1 = sine, Osc 2 = saw, then fm osc 1 with osc 2 (turn the knob in the first row, second column). There are so many possible sounds in Sytrus that no one has ever heard, why would you try to make one that's already been used in bare tunes? Third, Sytrus gives you so many options, six oscillators with fm, all the filters and effects, etc. What are the chances that yoy yoy yoy will still be the thing at that point? ![]() Second, it'll probably take you a couple of years before you can make decent tunes. Why do you want to sound like Scrillex (or anybody else for that matter)? You don't like Scrillex cause he sounds like someone else, you like him cause he sounds like Scrillex right? So why would someone else like you because you sound like Scrillex? Why wouldn't they just listen to Scrillex? Sort of a rant coming, so feel free to ignore:
